Interns from all walks of life will find a home-away-from-home in the Chelsea District residence. The outdoor roof terrace features sweeping views, benches, electric BBQ grills, bicycle storage and something you don’t always see in the Big Apple — grass! With 24-hour uniformed security staff in the lobby and a live-in Resident Life team – it’s a safe and helpful environment to get acclimated to city life. The lower level of the residence houses a central kitchen, large no-cost laundry facilities and a huge TV lounge. It also hosts an expansive community room with a nook to watch movies, vending machines, billiards and foosball tables. It’s easy to make friends in an environment built for relaxation. LES is located at the corner of historic Ludlow Street and Delancey Street, and you’re right across the street from Ludlow Fitness for great workouts all summer long.
What's Inside?
The comfortable, climate-controlled single and double rooms come stocked with twin XL beds, desks and chairs, closets and four-drawer dressers. In addition to the storage cabinet and overhead lighting, there are large windows (with great views!) and privacy shades. Each unit has a microwave and small fridge, a shared bathroom with an adjacent room, a vanity, a mirrored medicine cabinet and storage. You’ll find strong WiFi plus ethernet wall ports, and each suite is wired for cable. There is a security intercom and a keycard for access to the residence and your unit.
