Description
Position Summary: Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking two interns to join the Corporate Accounting team in the NYC headquarters. The Intern s responsibilities will include learning and interacting with many general accounting functions. This is a deadline driven environment requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail and communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly journal entries
- Preparation of inter-company invoices
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Prepare account analysis schedules
- Assist with fringe benefit analysis
- Assist with the monthly accounting close
- Assist with special projects which may arise
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a 4 year college or university business program,
preferably with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must have analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is required
- Must be able to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through
Friday
- This is a paid internship
